Agile mobile app development: a success factor for customer satisfaction

Mobile apps are indispensable for companies in the digital world. They make it possible to communicate with customers and partners, offer products and services and develop new business models. However, the development of mobile apps is a complex task that requires close collaboration between the development team and the business. Agile development methods such as Scrum provide a framework that facilitates this collaboration and increases the project's chances of success. In a recently completed project for a company in the electromobility sector, Advento acted as Scrum Master for a team developing an existing mobile app and creating a new one. In this role, we coordinated the team's collaboration with the business representatives and enabled the work to be carried out in an iterative, structured and efficient manner: from requirements to UX design and specification to implementation and delivery. The work was planned and tracked in the regular scrum meetings and the respective results were presented. This made it possible to keep an eye on the progress of the project at all times and make adjustments if necessary. Thanks to the agile approach, the team was able to successfully develop the two apps and meet customer requirements. Agile development methods are a success factor for the development of mobile apps. They enable close collaboration between the development team and the business representatives, which leads to better app quality and higher customer satisfaction.
